when i read a book, i feel like i understand how the author intends me to read the book. there’s a tone that i can hear. i can hear’s the author’s voice in my head when i read. it all falls apart when i read music. for example, sometimes in books characters sing. the author can do nothing but offer the lyrics. but i have no melody. and no matter how much i try, i can never find...
